The Association prepares a comprehensive Guide for Survey Fees for its members each year, which sets out suggested fees based on many years experience by members, and takes into account the work undertaken, professional liability and responsibility, together with legal and statutory requirements.

 

In an effort to assist Solicitors, Practitioners, Estate Agents, and the public, abrochure has been prepared to provide clients with an appreciation of the general costs associated with some specific surveys. This abridged version does not address particular project variables (for example, the difference between fees applicable for commercial, industrial or residential surveys). Individual job requirements and fees should be confirmed with the Consulting Surveyor prior to engagement and issuing of instructions.

Fees indicated hereon:

  • Are approximate and a guide only.
  • Could vary depending upon individual conditions and property characteristics.
  • Do not include disbursements.
  • Do not include any allowance for any provisions or costs associated with or relating to the Goods and Services Tax (GST). It is recommended that government taxes, including GST where appropriate, be added to any fees determined by the Guide.
